Ingredients
  Canned pear halves 1 87⁄100 Pound (1 Can Of 1 Pound, 14 Ounces Size)
  Canned pineapple chunks 8 1⁄2 Ounce
  Zwieback crumbs 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (About 6 Slices)
  Brown sugar 6 Tablespoon
  Grated lemon peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Melted butter/Melted margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Cream cheese package 6 Ounce (2 Packages)
  Milk 5 Tablespoon
Directions

Drain pears; place, cut side up, in baking pan, 8x8x2.
Drain pineapple chunks; save juice ; stuff pears with pineapple.
Blend zwieback crumbs, brown sugar, lemon peel, salt, nutmeg and melted butter or margarine in small bowl; sprinkle over and around pears.
Pour a little pineapple juice over crumbs; cover pan with foil.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 15 minutes; remove foil; continue baking for 15 minutes, or until crumb topping is toasty brown.
Mash cream cheese with milk in small bowl; beat until smooth; serve over warm pears.
