Pear Casserole

Ingredients
  Pears 6
  Chopped seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grated lemon rind 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (To Grease)
  Sauterne wine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Brandy 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Macaroon crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Peel and core pears; slice into thin slices.
Mix together raisins, sugar, and lemon rind; arrange alternately with pear slices in buttered 1 quart casserole.
Pour wine and brandy over pears.
Coyer; bake in 350°F toaster oven 25 minutes.
Uncover, sprinkle macaroon crumbs on top, and continue baking for another 7 minutes or until crumbs are browned.
