Microwave Pear Crunch
|Slivered almonds||2 Teaspoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Almond extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1 Tablespoon|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Regular oats||2 Tablespoon|
Place almonds in a custard cup.
Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until almonds are roasted; set aside.
Combine pears, lemon juice, and almond extract in a medium bowl, tossing well.
Divide among 4 (6-ounce) custard cups or individual baking dishes; set aside.
Combine flour and sugar; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
Stir in oats and reserved almonds.
Divide among custard cups.
Microwave at HIGH for 6 minutes or until pears are tender.
