Dressed-Up Pears

You'll simply love this Dressed-Up Pears dessert recipe. A deadly combination of varieties of fruits will surely tempt you to prepare this recipe again and again.
  Halved strawberries 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Triple sec/Other orange-flavored liqueur 1 Tablespoon
  Canned unsweetened pear halves 8
  Orange zest 1 Tablespoon

Place strawberries in container of on electric blender; process until pureed.
Transfer strawberries to a small bowl, and set aside.
Combine water and cornstarch in a small bowl, stirring until blended.
Add cornstarch mixture and Triple Sec to strawberries; stir until well blended.
Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes or until sauce thickens and boils.
Chill thoroughly.
Divide sauce among 4 individual dessert plates with slightly raised edges; place two pear halves on top of sauce in each plate.
Garnish with orange zest before serving.
