Amaretti Pears Rose

Ingredients
  Pears 4 (Firm William, Stems Intact)
  Amaretti de saronno biscuits 8
  Almond essence 2 Drop
  Liquid honey 30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Rose wine 1⁄4 Pint (150 Milliliter)
  Arrowroot 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Peel the pears carefully
2. Core them and reserve the top section that contains the stem
3. Roughly crush the Amaretti de Saronno biscuits

MAKING
4. Use the crumbs of the Amaretti de Saronno biscuits to fill the pear cavities to the top.
5. Replace the top stem on top of the pears
6. Stand the pears in a shallow heatproof casserole
7. Add the almond essence to the honey
8. Trickle the honey over the pears to coat them completely
9. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the wine for later use. Pour the remaining wine over the pears
10. Microwave uncovered on HIGH for 3-4 minutes or until the pears are tender

FINALIZING
11. Transfer the pears to a serving dish
12. Mix the arrowroot with the reserved wine and tip into the dish that was used to cook the pears
13. Microwave on HIGH For 20 seconds, stir quickly till it is mixed well
14. Tip this hot sauce-glaze over the cooked pears just before serving
15. Stand the pears for 2 minutes before serving

SERVING
16. Serve hot with whipped sweetened cream
