For the Pear Amber fans out there, this is an amazingly simple and delicious recipe to die for! Rich, flavorful, gorgeous and what not, Pear Amber is simply scrumptious to add life to any meal of the day. Delight in this wonderful recipe!
Ingredients
  Pear 1
  Honey 1 Teaspoon
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (To 2 Pears)
  Cochineal coloring 2 Drop
Directions

Peel pears, halve, and remove cores.
Dissolve honey in water and bring to the boil with cloves and rind. colour red.
Place pears, cut side downwards, in a fireproof dish and pour liquid over.
Bake at 300° F for 21/2 - 3 hours.
The pears should be dark red and semi- transparent.
Chill and serve with whipped cream.
