Gourmet Pears

Ingredients
  Pears 4 Medium
  Mace/Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), cut up
  Dark rum 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 375°.
Peel pears, leaving stem.
Slice bottoms so they sit evenly in pan.
Mix sugar and mace; sprinkle over pears.
Dot with butter; add rum.
Bake for 45 minutes.
Remove pears; place in serving dish.
Boil liquid, add cream, and boil until thickened.
Spoon over pears; serve.
Easy!
