St Helena Pears
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon peel||1 Teaspoon, grated|
|Brandy||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sauterne wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Macaroon crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1.Take the pears and peel them.
2.Now cut the pears into thin slices after taking out the core.
3.In a bowl, mix raisins with sugar and lemon peel.
1.In a slow cooker, arrange pear and raisins one by one and put brandy and wine on it.
2.Put the lid on and place the cooker on LOW for 4-6 hrs.
Sprinkle macaroon crumbs and serve the pear dish.
