|Canned unsweetened pear halves||4 (With 1/4 Cup Juice)|
|Juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cloves||1 Dash|
|Raisin bread slices||2 , made in crumbs|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In casserole just large enough to hold fruit in single layer arrange pear halves, cut-side down.
Dissolve cornstarch in the 1/4 cup juice and pour over pears; sprinkle with cloves.
In small bowl combine crumbs and sugar; add margarine and combine thoroughly.
Sprinkle mixture over pears and bake until crumbs are golden, about 15 minutes. serve as desired.
