|Butter||1 Ounce (45 g)|
|Soft brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
|Pears||3 Large, halved and cored|
|Double cream||6 Fluid Ounce (185 ml)|
1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F/ Gas 6). Grease a baking dish with a little of the butter. Sprinkle half the sugar on the bottom and sides of the dish.
2. Place the pears cut-side down in the dish, sprinkle with the remaining sugar and dot with the remaining butter.
3. Bake for 10 minutes. Pour the cream over the pears and bake for 25-30 minutes more. Serve warm.
