Healthy Baked Pears
|Bartlett pears||2 (Fresh)|
|Orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated orange peel||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄5 Cup (3.2 tbs)|
Cut pears in half lengthwise.
Pierce inside of pear halves with fork.
Arrange cut side up in 8 x 8-in baking dish.
In 2-cup measure combine orange juice, raisins, orange peel, cornstarch, water, allspice and cinnamon.
Microwave at High 1 to 3 minutes, or until thickened, stirring once or twice.
Pour glaze over pear halves.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at High 4 to 6 minutes, or until tender, rearranging and basting with glaze once during cooking.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Serve warm with sauce.
