Maple Walnut Pears
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Pears||4 , peeled cored and cut in half lengthwise|
|Maple syrup||3 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla fat free ice cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over low heat; add oil. Increase heat to medium-high. Place pear halves, cut sides down, in pan. Cook 3 minutes or until golden.
2. Reduce heat to medium; add maple syrup and brown sugar. Cook 6 minutes or until tender. Remove from heat; stir in nuts.
