|Fresh pear||4 , peeled, halved, cored, and cut into 1/4-inch dice|
|Lemon peel and juice||1 , peel grated (Of 1 Lemon)|
|Minced fresh ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Maple syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Place all ingredients in a 2-quart (8-cup) microwavesafe bowl.
Microwave, uncovered, on high (100%) for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes, until mixture is as thick as jam.
Cool completely, cover, and refrigerate.
