Fresh And Dried Pear Preserves

Ingredients
  Chopped dried pear 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), remove core
  Fresh pear 4 , peeled, halved, cored, and cut into 1/4-inch dice
  Lemon peel and juice 1 , peel grated (Of 1 Lemon)
  Minced fresh ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Maple syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Place all ingredients in a 2-quart (8-cup) microwavesafe bowl.
Microwave, uncovered, on high (100%) for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes, until mixture is as thick as jam.
Cool completely, cover, and refrigerate.
