This Peanut Wheat Crunchies is a lot more crunchier and crispier than you think. Not to mention the ease involved, this nutty treat will be a sure choice for tea or coffee breaks. Give it a try and liven up your laid back evenings!
Ingredients
  Peanut butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oats 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Large Flake)
  Coarsely chopped salted peanuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Cream butters together.
Beat in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
Blend the flour with salt, baking powder and soda.
Stir into butter mixture.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Form into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly with floured fork.
Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes or until they start to brown.
Watch closely.
Cool on pan for 2 minutes.
Remove to rack.
