Cold Marinated Peanuts
|Raw peanuts||1 Pound (450 Grams)|
|Light soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Dark soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Garlic||1 Tablespoon, finely chopped|
|Cider vinegar/Chinese white rice vinegar||5 Fluid Ounce (150 Milliliter)|
|Dry sherry/Rice wine||3 Fluid Ounce (75 Milliliter)|
1 Immerse the peanuts in a pot of boiling water for about 2 minutes to blanch.
2 Drain them and allow them to cool.
3 The skins should come off easily.
4 Put the blanched peanuts in a bowl.
5 Mix in all the other ingredients.
6 Let the peanuts marinade in this mixture for at least 2 or 3 hours.
7 Stir from time to time to ensure that the marinade is evenly distributed.
8 Most of it will be absorbed by the peanuts.
9 Excellent with Pickled Vegetables as snacks or appetisers.
