Salted Peanut Cookies

Salted Peanut Cookies are best accompaniment to tea any day. These cookies are crunchy and salty that make tea time. Salted peanut cookies are great for the people who do not prefer sweet cookies with tea or coffee or avoid sugar.
Ingredients
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Egg 1
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grape nuts flakes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salted peanuts 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1)In a bowl, beat together shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
2)Add egg and beat well.
3)In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
4)Mix it to creamed mixture alternately with milk, mixing well after each addition.
5)Add cereal and peanuts and mix.
6)Take greased baking sheets and drop spoonsful of batter on it.
7)Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes, or until done.

SERVING
8)Serve the salted peanut cookies with tea.
