Onion And Peanut Savory
|Sliced onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Breadcrumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped peanuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Using the butter, flour, seasoning and milk, make a simple white sauce.
Peel and slice the onions thickly and fill an oven dish with alternate layers of sliced onion, chopped nuts and white sauce.
Cover top with crumbs and flake with butter.
Bake in hot oven until crisp and lightly brown.
