Peanut Crunch Squares

Ingredients
  White sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Corn syrup 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Peanut butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Crisp unsweetened rice cereal 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Crisp unsweetened wheat flakes/Corn flakes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Dark brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Margarine/Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sifted icing sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat and stir white sugar and corn syrup together until sugar melts.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
Pour into a bowl and stir cereals in with a fork.
Scrape into a greased 8-inch-square pan and pat or press out evenly with greased fingers.
Heat brown sugar and margarine together until bubbly and smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in icing sugar and a little milk to make a smooth thick mixture.
Spread over the cereal base.
Chill and cut into squares.
