Double Peanut Cookies

Ingredients
  Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Peanut butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)
  Baking soda 2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salted peanuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped
Directions

In mixing bowl cream together shortening, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar; beat in eggs and vanilla.
Stir together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt; blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in chopped peanuts.
Form into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly with fingers.
Bake at 350° about 10 minutes.
