Bake Golden Cake in a 9 x 13inch pan.
Combine 1/2 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 envelope Knox unflavored gelatin in the top of a double boiler.
Stir well, and cook 10 minutes.
Slice or mash one No.
2 1/2 can or 1quart peaches, drained.
Combine with gelatin mixture, and chill thoroughly.
Spread over cooled cake.
