Broiled Scallops With Peaches

Ingredients
  Scallops 1 Pound
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned peach halves 12
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Mace 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bacon slices 3
Directions

Cut scallops into 1/2-inch pieces; saute in butter until golden brown.
Combine lemon juice, 1/4 tea- spoon salt, pepper and scallops; place peach halves in 11 x 7 x 1-inch baking pan.
Combine cinnamon, cloves, mace and remaining salt.
Sprinkle over peaches.
Place about 2 tablespoons scallop mixture in center of each peach.
Cut bacon into fourths crosswise.
Place slice on each peach.
Broil about 4 inches from source of heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
