|Canned peach halves||30 Ounce (1 No. 2 1/2 Can)|
|Ginger pieces||2 (Whole)|
|Cinnamon pieces||2 (3 Inch Each)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1 Pint|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Pint, whipped|
|Red cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green cherries||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1 Thoroughly drain the peaches.
2 Cut the ginger into small pieces
3 In a pan add the ginger with other spices to the juice.
4 Allow to simmer for 15 minutes.
5 In a baking dish, arrange peaches and pour spiced juice over the top.
6 Cover and chill for several hours or overnight.
7 In coupe or dessert dish, put scoop of ice cream and place peach half over ice cream and spoon juice over peach.
8 Garnish with whipped cream and pieces of red and green cherries.
