Spiced Peaches In Cider

Ingredients
  Peaches 1 Pound, skinned and halved (1/2 Kilogram)
  Sugar 8 Ounce (225 Grams)
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Ground allspice 1 Teaspoon
  Ground coriander 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cider 3 Fluid Ounce (75 Milliliter)
Directions

Put the peach halves into a large saucepan.
Mix the sugar and spices together and sprinkle over the peaches.
Pour over the cider and bring to the boil.
Simmer gently for 3 minutes.
With a slotted spoon, carefully transfer the peaches to wide-necked sterilized jars.
Boil the syrup for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it starts to thicken.
Pour over the peaches and seal.
