|Ripe peaches||6 Large|
|Honey||3 Tablespoon (To Taste)|
|Ground ginger/About 1/2 inch chunk of ginger root||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Yogurt/Sour cream / whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts/Sunflower seeds||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Peel peaches, cut into halves and pit.
In a wide, shallow saucepan, combine water, honey, and ginger.
Heat and stir until well mixed, then add peaches and poach gently for about five minutes, or until peaches are soft but not mushy.
Cool the fruit and then chill it.
When ready to serve, arrange two peach halves on each dessert plate, spoon one tablespoon of the juice over each half, then fill the centers with yogurt, sour cream, or whipped cream.
Sprinkle nuts or seeds over each portion.
