Peas Parmesan (Pisella Alla Parmigiana)

Ingredients
  Shelled peas 2 Pound
  Olive oil 83 Milliliter
  Scallions 5 , finely chopped
  Water 65 Milliliter
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped basil 1 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Saute the scallions in the oil for three minutes.
Mix in water, peas, parsley, basil and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and cook for about 10 minutes or until peasare tender.
Do not overcook.
Drain peas and put in a hot serving dish.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
