Creamed peas are a simple side dish that can be served with fish or grilled vegetables. Cooked in a microwave with flour, butter and milk, along with salt and pepper, the creamed peas are good to go.
|Butter||1 Tablespoon (or margarine)|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce, cooked, drained|
Microwave margarine in 2 cup glass measure until melted, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper; stir in milk.
Microwave 1 minute.
Stir in peas.
Microwave until mixture boils and thickens, 1 to 2 minutes.
