Microwave Turkey and Peas Casserole
|Diced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Diced turkey||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce (1 package)|
|Condensed cream of mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 can)|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pimiento strips||2 Ounce (1 jar)|
|Prepared mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Hot cooked rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
1. In a microwave oven, place glass casserole, add butter into it and cook on a setting of ROAST (7) for a minute until the butter softens.
2. Add onion and cook on setting of HIGH (9) for 2 minutes until they turn soft.
3. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook at a setting of REHEAT (8) for about 10-12 minutes until the dish turns bubbly. Stir once during the cooking time.
4. Serve Turkey and Peas Casserole with hot steamed rice.
