Buttered Smashed Green Peas
|Frozen green peas||16 Ounce|
|Water||3 1⁄4 Cup (52 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||2 Tablespoon|
1. Steam the frozen peas in water by adding 2 tbsp butter, salt and pepper for about 15-20 minutes or until the peas get tender.
2. Drain the excess water from the pot and add 2 tbsp butter and heavy cream to the peas. Season with salt and pepper and mash with a potato masher.
3. Serve in a bowl with the garnish of fresh rosemary or fresh mint.
