Savory Peas

Ingredients
  Sliced green onions 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Shelled peas 1 1⁄2 Pound (1 1/2 Cups)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Powdered savory 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Snipped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a skillet, gently saute the green onions in butter for 5 minutes or until soft.
2) Stir in the sugar, peas, herbs, water, salt, and pepper.
3) Cover and cook over a low heat for about 10 minutes or until the peas are soft.

SERVING
4) Serve immediately in a nice plate.
