Lemon Minted Peas

Ingredients
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Shelled fresh peas 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sliced green onions 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped fresh mint 1 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1 Dash
  Lemon juice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place in small microproof casserole all ingredients except lemon juice.
Cover and cook on HIGH 5-6 minutes until peas are just tender, stirring once.
Stir in lemon juice just at serving time so peas will not lose fresh green colour.
