|Shelled peas/1 10-ounce package frozen peas||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sliced green onion with tops||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Crushed dried thyme||1 Dash|
Moisten lettuce leaves, leaving a few drops of water clinging.
Line bottom of a 10-inch skillet with lettuce leaves.
Top with fresh or frozen peas and green onion.
Sprinkle, with sugar, thyme, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and dash pepper.
Cover tightly and cook over low heat till peas are tender, 18 to 20 minutes.
Drain peas well; dot with butter or margarine.
