Mashed Rutabaga With Green Peas
|Rutabagas||1 Large (Or 2 Medium)|
|Frozen green peas||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Instant mashed potato puffs||6|
Prepare and cook cubed rutabagas.
Cook peas as directed on package.
Prepare potato puffs as directed on package for 2 servings except omit milk and butter.
Combine rutabagas and potatoes.
Add salt and pepper; mash.
Spoon into bowl or onto platter, leaving an indentation in center.
Fill center with drained hot peas.
With canned rutabaga: Use 2 cans (15 1/2 ounces each) diced rutabaga, drained; omit salt and heat through after mashing.
