One of our family€™s favorites, steamed sugar snap peas. Easy, tasty, healthy €“ perfect for casual summer dining. They€™re done in an instant and so delicious. Now, how snappy is that?!
Sugar snap peas
4 Cup (64 tbs)
1 Bunch (100 gm), chopped
Freshly ground black pepper
Toasted sesame oil
Clean peas if needed, pull strings and remove any tough stems. Steam peas for 4-5 minutes. I usually check them at 3, do not over-cook. Peas should have a nice bite to them€¦ snappy, sweet and crunchy.
Remove from pan and plunge into an ice bath to stop cooking and to preserve color and flavor.
