Buttered Green Peas

|Unshelled fresh peas||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Boiling salted water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1/2 To 1 Inch)|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
You'll need 1 1/2 lb.
Unshelled fresh peas (makes 1 cup shelled).
Shell just before cooking.
Cook peas (with a few pods for flavor) in 1/2 to 1" boiling salted water for 8 to 12 min.
Season with butter, salt, and pepper.
