Food Processor Pastry
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Frozen butter||125 Gram, diced|
|Cold water||1 Tablespoon|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon (Squeezed)|
Place flour, butter and salt in food processor and process, turning processor rapidly on and off, until butter is cut into flour and mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Mix eggs, water and lemon juice together and, with motor running, pour liquid quickly through the feed tube. Do not use it all unless necessary â€” stop pouring immediately a ball of dough forms round the blade. Wrap pastry in plastic film and chill 1 hour before rolling out and shaping. Chill again for 20 minutes before baking. Makes enough dough to line two 20-23cm flan rings or pie plates.
