Meat Turnovers

  Ground beef 1⁄4 Pound
  Green onion 1 , minced
  Chopped green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped red pepper 2 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1 Dash
  Garlic powder 1 Dash
  Pastry 250 Gram
  Egg yolk 1
  Water 1 Tablespoon
  Commercial sour cream 1 Tablespoon

Combine ground beef, green onion, and chopped green and red pepper in a heavy skillet.
Cook until meat is browned, drain.
Stir in flour, salt, pepper, chili powder, and garlic powder, cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Set aside.
Cool to room temperature.
Roll pastry to 1/2-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface.
Cut into 3-inch rounds.
Place 1 teaspoon meat mixture in center.
Combine egg yolk and water; brush edges of pastry with yolk mixture, and fold in half.
Seal edges.
Place on lightly greased baking sheets, and brush tops with egg yolk mixture.
Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until puffed and lightly browned.
Serve with sour cream.
