Weelicious's Puff Pastry Heart: Valentine's Day Dessert for Kids

These puff pastry hearts are an easy and fun Valentine's Day recipe for you and your kids!

Ingredients

Frozen puff pastry 200 Gram , Defrosted
Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Powdered sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Raspberries/Strawberries 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. Preheat the oven at 400°F.

2. In the bowl of a standing mixer, combine the cream, vanilla and sugar and beat on high until light and fluffy, for 5 minutes. Set aside.

MAKING

3. Unfold the puff pastry and cut into hearts using heart-shaped cookie cutters.

4. Place the puff pastry hearts on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees F.

5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

6. Slice hearts in half. Top one half with whipped cream and berries, and place the other half on top to form a sandwich.

SERVING

7. Serve Puff Pastry Heart as dessert to your kids.
