Homemade Pastry Mix
|Flour||7 Cup (112 tbs)|
|Lard/Lard - 2 cups, for hard wheat flour||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs) (For Soft Wheat Flour)|
1. In a large mixing bowl, put together salt and flour; mix well.
2. Add lard to the flour; using a pastry blender or fork, cut lard until crumbs are broken down to the size of small peas.
3. Use the dough for pie shell or cover and refrigerate until used.
