|Plain flour||225 Gram (8 Ounce)|
|Very cold butter||175 Gram (6 Ounce)|
1 Preheat the oven at 350 degrees farenheit/180 degrees celsius.
2 In a food processor ,whizz the flour and cubed butter until it resembles rough breadcrumbs.
3 Whisk the egg, use three-quarters of it to bind the mixture in a bowl.
4 Do this by hand or with a metal knife.
5 Wrap the dough in cling film and cool for at least 30 minutes.
6 Roll out the dough and rest for a further 20-30 minutes.
7 Use as required.
