Rich Shortcrust Pastry
|Plain flour||8 Ounce, sifted (225 Gram)|
|Pinch salt||To Taste|
|Butter||6 Ounce, softened (175 Gram)|
|Egg yolk||1 Medium|
|Castor sugar||10 Milliliter|
|Cold water||30 Milliliter|
1) In a large bowl, blend the flour and salt , cut in the butter until crumbly.
2) Stir in egg yolk, sprinkle castor sugar, fold gently into the flour, gradually add water to make a stiff dough.
3) Lightly knead the dough, wrap in a foil, chill minimum 15 min in the refrigeratore before using.
4)Use it to make a dish of your choice.
