Rich Shortcrust Pastry

Ingredients
  Plain flour 8 Ounce, sifted (225 Gram)
  Pinch salt To Taste
  Butter 6 Ounce, softened (175 Gram)
  Egg yolk 1 Medium
  Castor sugar 10 Milliliter
  Cold water 30 Milliliter
Directions

MAKING
1) In a large bowl, blend the flour and salt , cut in the butter until crumbly.
2) Stir in egg yolk, sprinkle castor sugar, fold gently into the flour, gradually add water to make a stiff dough.
3) Lightly knead the dough, wrap in a foil, chill minimum 15 min in the refrigeratore before using.

SERVING
4)Use it to make a dish of your choice.
