Classic Short Crust Pastry
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Iced water||4 Tablespoon|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
Sift flour, salt, baking powder;chop in butter until very fine.
Add 4 tblspns, iced water gradually - sprinkling all over.
Take a spoon and mash together (a wooden spoon is preferable).
Roll out to 1/4" thick.
Bake for about 10 — 15 mins.
in a hot oven.
(For Apple Tart — add cinnamon to the apples, then sprinkle milk on top of pastry and also some castor sugar).
