|All purpose flour||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Cold butter stick||12 Tablespoon, cut into pieces (unsalted)|
|Confectioner’s sugar||4 Teaspoon|
Put all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until it resembles fine crumbs.
Pat around the sides and base of the tart pan, then chill for at least 1 hour.
To bake blind, prick well and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 25 minutes, until a pale biscuit color.
If the pastry is to be used for a tart with a sweet filling, reduce the amount of flour to 1 1/2 cups and use 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar.
