Single Crust Pastry

|All purpose flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Vegetable shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cold water||4 Tablespoon|
In medium mixing bowl combine flour and salt.
Cut in shortening until mixture is like coarse meal.
Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring with fork until particles are moistened and stick together.
Form pastry into a ball.
