Puff Pastry Prune Pies

Ingredients
  Frozen patty shells 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Marzipan 8 Ounce (3/4 Cup, Almond Paste)
  Moist pack pitted prunes 18
  Sliced almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Pint
Directions

Let patty shells thaw at room temperature, then place well apart on a large baking sheet.
With your fingers, press each shell into a 4-inch-diameter round.
Press 2 tablespoons of the marzipan over top of each pastry.
Firmly press 3 prunes into marzipan atop each pastry; sprinkle with almonds.
Bake in a 400° oven until golden brown about 15 minutes.
Top with ice cream, if desired; serve warm.
