Pastry Wrapped Olives
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Heavy cream||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Black olives/Pimiento-stuffed green olives||25 Medium, drained|
|Egg white||1 , slightly beaten|
|Poppy seed/Finely chopped almonds / additional grated parmesan cheese.||2 Tablespoon|
Combine first 4 ingredients and mix well.
Shape dough in a strip and cut in 25 small pieces.
Put an olive in center of each and cover completely with dough, rolling in hands.
Brush with egg white and sprinkle with poppy seed.
Put on ungreased cookie sheets and bake in preheated slow oven (300°F.) about 20 minutes
