Short Crust Pastry

Ingredients
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ice water 50 Milliliter
Directions

Crumb the flour and butter together with your fingers.
Add the salt and sufficient ice water to make a very stiff dough.
Chill for a half hour.
Grease an 8 inch pan.
Roll out the pastry and line the pan with this.
Pour the egg mixture into this and bake as above.
For a pleasant alternative add 2 tablespoons of grated cheese to the egg mixture.
Then you can omit the fried bacon.
Eat the tart hot or cold.
