Easy Plain Pastry
|Flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Shortening/Half butter and half shortening.||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (generous)|
4 to 5 tablespoons cold water.
Mix flour and salt, cut in shortening with pastry blender.
Add sufficient cold water so that dough is moist enough to hold together.
