Cretan Turnovers Pastry

Ingredients
  Flour 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Shortening 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cold water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Sift flour and salt into mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening with pastry cutter or 2 knives.
Stir in enough water to make a firm dough that can be gathered together.
