Learn how to make raw applesauce using only apples and a good blender.
1. Peel and core the apples.
Place them in a blender. I highly suggest a Vita mix blender because it never jams and includes a tamper, which is crucial for pushing the fruit into the blades.
2. Slice the apples into smaller pieces and place them in your blender. Blend on high and use your tamper to press the fruit into the blades for a smooth sauce. Blend on low use your pulse feature to make it chunkier.
3. Serve immediately.
Add a citrus fruit to prevent the apple sauce from browning. Keep the skin on if required.
