Sardine Paste

Ingredients
  Canned sardines in oil 3 3⁄4 Ounce, drained, skinned, and boned (1 Can)
  Minced onion 1 Tablespoon
  Mayonnaise 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Hard cooked egg 1 , shelled and chopped
  Thin bread slices/Toast 4
Directions

Mash sardines with a fork.
Stir in all ingredients except bread until thoroughly blended.
Trim crusts and flatten bread with a rolling pin.
Spread with paste.
Roll bread slices, fasten with toothpicks, and place on a lightly greased baking pan.
Bake in a 400° oven until bread is toasted and appetizer is heated through.
Spread may also be served on buttered toast.
